Looking for a young, trained chef to work as a chef and possibly
eventually manage a popular, eclectic, almost vegetarian cafe in Ecuadorīs
most touristic town. The location is superb, surrounded by mountains in
a beautiful natural setting with 3 volcanic hot springs and a large international
tourist presence. The restaurant is currently closed due to a mass evacuation
last Oct when the nearby volcano, Tungurahua threatened to erupt. Now the
populance has been permitted to return and we are interested in reopening
with an indian food theme. The wage would be based on a percentage of profit.
It may start out around $300-500 a month (A local lunch is costing currently
about 50 cents US) but with effort that will rise. The owner is American,
