JOB DESCRIPTION: As V.P.(Development), you will be heading the technical team and be instrumental in setting standards. You will have a purview of all the development activities of Aspire including both on-shore and off-shore.You will be needed to instill direction to your PM's who will be reporting to you. You will be required to:  To lead the development center, with an ability to take over as a profit center head in a short duration  To form and implement project management systems, to ensure timely and quality execution of projects  To form and lead a good team of developers as per company’s requirements, and to have retention strategies to form a world-class development team  To plan and implement infrastructure for the development group  To steer the development group towards emerging technologies through training – cross-training as well as external training  To steer the development group towards relevant standards and certifications like ISO, etc.  To form quality practices, and other productivity practices in the company to achieve highest and consistent quality with the best productivity  To achieve maximum profitability for the group  To generate P&L and other relevant statements to have an insight to the financial of the group
